Wildfire Radio Octave is the latest one-and-done limited edition from Wildfire Cigar Co., showcasing the more elegant side of the brand's ever-evolving blending philosophy. Handcrafted at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic, this refined 5 3/4 x 48 parejo features a beautifully aged five-year Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over a Sumatra-seed binder and a complex filler blend of Corojo Ligero, Criollo 98, and premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. The result is a balanced, nuanced smoking experience that delivers complexity without overwhelming strength.
Radio Octave is the third release in Wildfire's exclusive Camp Counselor Enrollment Program, following the highly sought-after Dead Drift and The Fault Line. The program marks a bold new direction for Wildfire, replacing traditional regular-production cigars with a series of meticulously crafted, small-batch limited editions available only through a select group of allocated retailers.
Unlike conventional cigar releases, every Camp Counselor blend is rolled only after retailer allocations are placed, meaning production is based entirely on demand. This made-to-order approach ensures maximum freshness while maintaining true exclusivity—there are no extra production runs, no warehouse inventory, and no future re-releases. Once each batch is spoken for, it's permanently retired.
As the third chapter in this collectible series, Radio Octave continues Wildfire's commitment to producing distinctive boutique cigars that emphasize craftsmanship, rarity, and intentional blending over mass production.
Available now at King of the Leaf while limited supplies last. Like every Camp Counselor release before it, once Radio Octave is gone, it will never be made again.
